Well, I'm at work. It's 8:50 in the morning. And there is only one person in the lab. I knew it would be empty. Who the hell would walk in the rain to come here. I sure as hell wouldn't want to.
Speaking of the rain, I hate it. Especially when I have to walk in it.
I've been having a horrible week since Monday. Eveything just went wrong and was out of my control. I'm just glad it's finally Thursday and that it's gonna be over.
Here are the parts of the week, good or bad:
+ I registered for classes on Monday. Here is
my schedule.
- I wanted to take all these different classes but they all ended up being at the same time. Which sucks because I had to choose which ones to take. And that was hard. And I couldn't even take the last required class for my IT minor, which is only offered in the Fall. It's a class that meets once a week, and conviniently is on Thursday during the time that the majority of the art studio classes I wanted to take are. So if I don't have time to take that class during my senior year, I am screwed and won't get my minor.
- Holy shit the builing just shook because of thunder.
+ I got 24/7 access to the computer lab because I work here.
+ I'm Junior Manager for Star-Course for Ad Design for next year.
- The Art school is a piece of shit and I hate how the graphic design program is set up. There's only 2 stable teachers and the rest are coming and going. They merged Typography 2 and Image Making 2 into one class for fall semester, which is bullshit. And then for Spring semester next year they're mering another two classes into one. Also, one class that we're supposted to take at some point isn't offered anymore. It's all falling apart. Even the Juniors are having the same experience, of bad teachers and weird classes that have no sequence. I've lost faith in getting a good education, it's not going to happen unless some miracle occurs next year.
- Henry has finally gotten to me and I can't handle Image Making and Typography anymore because the class is ridiculous and I just sit there bitter and angry and his horrible teaching methods. This is another reason why I've lost faith in the art school.
- My portfolio blows because of the 2 reasons above. I'm not gonna get anywhere after I graduate.
- Other stuff happened that I'm not gonna talk about.
